The Empower Project contributes to the protection of women against all forms of violence, working on women victims’ awareness of their co-factors’ responsibility for the perpetuation of violence; in particular, the unconscious perpetuation of the role played by mothers in the daughters’ disposition towards the will of the man and his violence.
The project offers women in specialist “anti-violence” centers the chance to take part in psychodrama groups for 6 months. Changes in the women after taking part in these groups will be verified through the research process.
